KAAN 2010
Hello! I apologize for the late update regarding SelahArt Group.
With summer vacation leaving us, we have been finishing up our performances and getting ready for school and our different excursions.
But before we lay low for a while to focus on our studies, I'd like to tell you all about our KAAN performance which took place in July 2010 in Hershey, PA.
KAAN, which stands for the Korean-American Adoptee Adoptive-Family Network, is an organization for Korean adoptees and their families to raise awareness and help learn about their cultures. Every year a conference is held for the families of Korean adoptees from all over the United States, Europe, Canada, and Asia to come and learn, embrace Korean culture and build understanding between the adoptees and their families.
To learn more about KAAN, please visit their website.

KAAN holds national annual conferences in different states and this year was held in Hershey, PA from July 23rd to 25th. Selahart was invited to perform during the Keynote Dinner event and as guest instructors for the youth group. Senator Paull Shin from the Washington State Senate was also present as the Keynote speaker for the conference and Professor Lee Chun Hee, Korea's renown "Gyeong-Gi Min-Yo" performer was present and Selahart was honored to perform alongside her during the performance.
In addition to our Keynote Dinner Performance, Selahart performed at the Harrisburg Korean Presbyterian Church during Senator Shin's lecture.
These are some pictures of our wonderful members. Videos will be posted later on.
Thank you!
